Southbound to Panama across the Caribbean Sea
Redtail glides like a memory and fades like a dream
Thermals rising from the water lift him toward the sun
The coast line sharpens into view as watches from above
He’s seen a lot commotion down there among the trees
Down there with the power lines and the smoking factories
Fifteen thousand feet over La Mares the air is thin and cool
Redtail sees a rising tide, more sinners and fools
Heard it whispered in the wind
Saw it written across the sky
Ancient voices calling out
Ageless spirits sigh
Redtrail is drifter, cool as burnished steel
He can see the plot unfold before they start rolling the reel
He’s been watching since long before the clever creatures came
With their restless energy and industry, with their progress and change
They're insatiable as a forest fire, they eat everything in sight
They disturb the stillness with noise and pollute the darkness with light
They put a wasteland of despair where the gardens used to grow
Nothing is sacred, everything must go
Heard it whispered in the wind
Saw it written across the sky
Ancient voices calling out
Ageless spirits sigh
Redtail surveys the slow dance of cloud shadows across the plains
He watches the river run to the ocean then fall from sky again
He doesn’t feel anger, he doesn’t feel fear or pain
As he sails across the horizon into the coming rain

My Kaiju is selfish and I can't predict what she’ll do
She suddenly appears, she will shatter the area and leave when she’s done
My Kaiju is coming, My Kaiju is coming today
My Kaiju is a carnivorous beast
Even though she eats a lot, she’s always in a bad mood and she has no amiability
When she is hungry, her anger will be amplified and no effect will be obtained even if I tried to calm her down
My Kaiju is coming, My Kaiju is coming today
No one can go against her, no one can escape, no one can stop, she just goes as her desires are
She destroys everything, it is impossible, this danger zone cannot be predicted
You, the strongest immortal, no longer have enemies
My Kaiju has the devil's "redtail", the one with a red spear at the tip
She is very dictatorial and somehow fascinating, but she will totally destroy mercilessly
My Kaiju is coming, My Kaiju is coming today

I Placed a much bigger bet

Back and forth the stories used to be told
And they would call you the redtail
For fast and swift you’d come out swinging from the hawks nest
To anyone who even tried to cross your path
You’d been abandoned, you’d been afraid for too long
You’d grown cold from the way the world had beat you down
No one knew much about you other than you were on your own these days
And that your family had been killed off long ago
The story goes they broke in when you had let down your guard one night
And once inside the cave they found your mother
Tore her limb from limb with no remorse
There was nothing you could do in the moment but hide and watch in horror
You stay silent while they searched and slayed the rest
And then you came out once they had left.
You cried for hours and held your family close
Then buried them and vowed vengeance to their death
Rumor has it you still search day and night
For the ones who forever changed your life.
I pray that one day you will take your sword upon their wicked hearts
And make them pay for the damage they have done
So I listen for you redtail
I keep the windows open each night
With the hope I hear screams from the vile ones
When you take revenge upon them under the stars
