V. 1 I fell in love on a weekend getaway, The Gulf wind blew through your hair as you danced on Esplanade, Could I love you in the morning light? When you’re in the middle row, headed home on a return flight Chorus I’ll love you wherever you go From the Parthenon to The Alamo Here or there, near or far Wherever you go, there you are V. 2 You could be on a Parisian cat walk Or in your pajamas in a coffee shop parking lot Or lying with your head upon my chest Or standing in aisle three, obsessing on your grocery list Chorus I’ll love you wherever you go From the Parthenon to The Alamo Here or there, near or far Wherever you go, there you are Bridge: Everywhere you go, Everywhere you go, Everywhere you go, Everywhere you go, Everywhere you go, Everywhere you go, Everywhere you go, Everywhere you go Opened my eyes so I could see--saw the world in front of me... Years from now, when my mem’ries start to fade I’ll still see the girl who danced in the gulf wind breeze down Esplanade Chorus I’ll love you wherever you go From the Parthenon to The Alamo Here or there, near or far Wherever you go, there you are Chorus I’ll love you wherever you go From the Parthenon to The Alamo Here or there, near or far Wherever you go, there you are

Ruby, can you pass me the wine? There’s nothing left to hold If I leave it behind I’m getting pretty good at the grind I watch these broken movies In the back of my mind Ruby, don’t you wander sometimes? Wonder at the dollars you could Get for your dimes? Never seen you stumble or blink Sometimes you think of me Surely drives you to drink Wise man says you love something, You oughta set it free But I’m not sure what freedom has to do with me She said “you’ve broken my crown With all these ups and downs It’s a seesaw life And I’m used to being Queen” Maybe it’s time To quit this life of petty crime Get myself a license and drive Still think we should buy us a boat? It’s hard to plan ahead Trying to keep us afloat Seems like we keep wasting our time Spending all our present On a future of crime Must be better clubs you could join Starting every day with a Flip of the coin But if I’m gonna stay, I’m’a stay I know I’m just a fool To find my feet made of clay Wise man says you love something, You oughta set it free But I’m not sure what freedom has to do with me She said “you’ve broken my crown With all these ups and downs It’s a seesaw life And I’m used to being Queen” Maybe it’s time To quit this life of petty crime Get myself a license and drive

Ups and downs like a see saw ride Broken promises twistin up inside Twist and turn the soulless steel Cold enough but still we feel In the end, in the end I believe Wipe away the neon tears Caught up in the same old fears Close our eyes take a breath One step on to death In the end, in the end I still believe
4.
WHEN YOU SLEEP OOH WHEN I WATCH YOU SLEEP OH SO PEACEFULLY COUNTING SHEEP ME I’VE BEEN UP ALL NIGHT ON MY SEE SAW OVER WHERE THE SHADOWS MEET AND I CIRCLE ROUND A MURKY. HAZE WITH A TRAPEZOIDAL GAZE AND I MEET THE DEVIL FACE TO FACE THEN HE DISAPPEARS WITHOUT A TRACE OOH WHEN THE NIGHTIME MELTS AND THE GENTLE SOULS FIND THEY’RE PEACE AND WHEN DAYLIGHT WAITS FOR THE MIDNIGHT WALKERS GO TO SLEEP AND THEY GO BACK UNDERNEATH THE GROUND SOMEWHERE FARAWAY FROM TOWN AND THEY DISAPPEAR WITHOUT A SOUND I HEAR THE ANGELS SINGING I HEAR THE SPIRITS WEEPING I HEAR THE CLOCK IS TICKING I HEAR THE SLEEPERS SLEEPING I SEE THE DREAMERS DREAMING I SEE THE WATCHERS WATCHING I SEE RUNNERS RUNNING I SEE THE DANCERS DANCING
5.
The club is my playground You wanna come play? Been working all day now It’s time to party So what you gon’ say now? You rolling with me? The club is my playground Come over and see ‘Cause I got all the time And I ain’t in no rush And you look mighty fine I think I got a crush And with that bass thumpin’ You can’t say nothing So get that thang jumpin’ Jumpin’ like it’s double dutch Move that thang up and down And up and down And up and down and up and down (Just like a seesaw) Up and down and up and down And up and down and up (Just like a seesaw) It’s time to get crazy It’s time to get loose We finna get faded (you already know) So pour up the juice (pour it up) The way you moving your body Is so amazing (doin’ your thing) All eyes are on you (lookin’ lookin’ lookin’) It’s time to get crazy (tag, you’re it) And you know what to do (Leave em in the sandbox) It’s time for recess Now do the jungle gym Now do the monkey bars (swang) Now do the merry go round Now can you hop-hop-hop Do the hopscotch

Signifying nothing The clock it winds uphill Next to the see saw On the windowsill All life’s shitty writers Nothing quite fits the bill Everything’s broken At the lollipop guild Never thought I go out like this today Writing nonsense just cause it’s Monday Feeling pretty busy Overwhelmed, you could say Too much going on, got bills to pay No, don’t wanna keep you Ain’t got time to kill Feeling the pressure Ain’t got no chill How fast can I write this Slower than a rumor mill Witty deep reference And my mental health pill Never thought I go out like this today Writing nonsense just cause it’s Monday Feeling pretty busy Overwhelmed, you could say Too much going on, got bills to pay One more time for children Prostitutes and shills Edward Snowden And Buffalo Bill Nowhere man for hire Asteroids and drills 90’s movies Armageddon On a flat top grill Never thought I go out like this today Writing nonsense just cause it’s Monday Feeling pretty busy Overwhelmed, you could say Too much going on, got bills to pay

My girlfriend’s already asleep and I still haven’t finished my Week 7 song She probably didn’t believe me when I told her I wouldn’t be very long Spent my last 24 hours on taxes Breaking my back on those 1040 blues And I need to finish this now so tomorrow I won’t spend all day hitting snooze If you listen closely you might barely the notice the sound of me settling for less I ho hum and heehaw and try to fit “seesaw” into this quick musical mess Spent my last six weeks on these exercises Varying sizes and rates of success And here’s one more ditty for this week’s committee So there, look, I did it I guess
