There's pain in my belly There's pain in my head If it don't end soon I'm gonna be dead Voices on the left And voices on the right Can I go all day Will I make it through the night Going through the tunnel, it's coming on fast Going through the tunnel, man it ain't no blast Going through the tunnel and I'm feeling the pain Going through the tunnel will I go insane The hunger will cry And the hunger will lie The hunger is gonna be my demise My head goes up And my head goes down I got myself turned Lord, all the way around Going through the tunnel, it's coming on fast Going through the tunnel, man it ain't no blast Going through the tunnel and I'm feeling the pain Going through the tunnel will I go insane Well my time has come My time's at the end My time expires before it begins A dance with the devil It's a dance with shame Will I find victory Calling my name Going through the tunnel, it's coming on fast Going through the tunnel, man it ain't no blast Going through the tunnel and I'm feeling the pain Going through the tunnel will I go insane

All the colors came to pass Powder turned to parchment And we knew it wouldn’t last like the bells that rang out for Jerusalem Bang your gong and bang your drums and walk out like a tight wire act State the truth and state the fact of all the things you memorized Reading in between the lines You think of her with pretty eyes The moments we immortalize Then all at once you realize we are all Lost and found Now I’m walking around With my head in the clouds Wondering how could it be That the eyes of a sparrow are not judging me like a child who has lost his way fatherless and left betrayed Broken hearts and broken bones Happy trails lead to empty homes A mother can’t love anymore Wipes tears across the kitchen floor On the day she realized we are all just Lost and found I saw the comet in the sky, and it passed me by In the forest I found trees And everything I hoped to be Counted back in 1s and 3s Grab a book and grab some tea And let’s all lay down now A good day to be alive While my mind was rotting from the inside The doctors said son take it easy on yourself It will improve your health with the balance of some medicine Fill in all the openings With citrus, sage and anything that brings a smile to your face All the girls you cared about Left with hope and left with doubt Now I have a constant fear that we are just Lost and found

House is vacant Walls are beige Been here hours Feels like days Change locations Take a break But I’m right back Stuck up in the same old place and I guess it’s useless no more excuses Called up my muses they chucked the deuces I think I’m losing my mind I’m in writers block. I’m in Writer’s block. Can’t get Out this box. Had a Train of thought and Now it’s stopped in Is there nothing Left to say Red light, dry well Mental maze Mind is racing Can’t escape Nothing saves me from Staring at this same old page and I guess it’s useless no more excuses Called up my muses they told me I’m clueless They think I’m losing my mind

Profit We’re marking out the path to our own destruction Maybe we’re just weapons of mass consumption But I don’t want to wallow in that kind of reduction So I watch my pocket Cause everybody’s looking for a profit It’s the American Dream It’s exactly how it seems No, nobody’s keeping score I got plenty, but I want more We’re marking out the path to our own deception Maybe we’re obsessed with the resurrection But some of us are headed in a darker direction So people watch your pockets Cause everybody’s looking for an Ah Ah Ah Ah prophet It’s the American Dream It’s exactly how it seems No, nobody’s keeping score I got mine but I want yours American Dream American Dream American Dream It’s the American dream It’s exactly how it seems No, nobody’s keeping score Yeah, I got plenty But I want more It’s the American Dream It’s exactly how it seems No, nobody’s keeping score I’ve got mine But I want yours

I told you that I’d get it to you by Friday at 6 Well now it seems I’m in a little fix Cause it’s Friday at five and I haven’t the drive TGIF “the hell with it” The bride wants an RSVP A simple reply, it’s so easy Well the wedding’s tomorrow And now I guess I can’t go My sister’s sure gonna miss me I know that it’s a character flaw Settle down, I’m breaking no law Just face the facts You gotta relax It’s not that I have nothing to do It’s that I do nothing I have Plenty of time in a day No need for me to worry Not watching a clock I’d rather be on TikTok At some point I just gotta say The boss told me well in advance Now she says it’s my last chance I gotta come through But grumpy cat’s on YouTube I always wanted to go freelance

Did it matter where we were? Would you have felt the very same? singing a long lost melody I can’t recall did I ever know the name at the bottom of the stairs I watched you turn your head and smile lost in a memory, a shade I’ll never share a debt I’ll never reconcile There’s a light at the end of the pier For the ships out at sea What were you thinking when you weren’t thinking of me? it’s the black box in your heart it’s the apple on the tree the key to the code I wish I’d never thought to find the whispers lost to memory shall we walk out on the sand shall we dance the night away knowing that somewhere there’s a line that can’t be crossed while we keep the dark at bay There’s a light at the end of the pier For the ships out at sea What were you thinking when you weren’t thinking of me?

She left a note on the door, then she hit the road. If she was truly afraid, it never showed. Put the kids in the car, then she hit the road Jack, Headed down the road and she never looked back. She's not afraid, she's never going back again. He didn't think she would leave, he was passed out drunk. He never noticed the suitcase she had in her trunk. He was surprised, guess he shouldn't have been, It was gonna happen, just a question of when. She's not afraid, she's never going back again. She's not afraid of him, know that she's out on a limb. When you know you're gonna fall, go ahead and let it happen. When you land, it's gonna hurt, but stay too long, and you'll get burnt. Not the first, and probably not the last one - she's not afraid of him. He said she'll probably come back, but he knew better. Even if she wanted to, he's not sure he'd let her. She was confident, she was fine Cried a little crossing the county line. She's not afraid, she's never going back again. She's not afraid of him, know that she's out on a limb. When you know you're gonna fall, go ahead and let it happen. When you land, it's gonna hurt, but stay too long, and you'll get burnt. Not the first, and probably not the last one - she's not afraid of him. credits

in the brackish water the limits of time You dropped a fragile thread; Hold for the son the flag we stole, Labeling all with missing head, Liberty's golden silent sun: Young you were an amber drop, Swift as the ocean could, Brought the old drunkard, a hopeless fop Pale as a evening west, Your own perfume, this fervent night— Light and motion sweet caress Silent she let it pass, Pale as a evening west,
