Mother with Holy Child Cross the wilderness wild Joseph on to proclaim Census calling their name Carry through the sand Savior of all the land Arrive at Bethlehem near Find no vacancy here Yonder stable is there For the manger shall bare Soon the bells will ring Jesus Christ is King

She thougth he looked good in black. He preferred white, that was him. Gray, it appeared, was a good compromise, charcoal every now and then. He liked to read science books, love stories were more her style. And so they settled on watching teevee, movies every once in a while. He like to disco, bright flashing lights, you feel the bass in your bones. She preferred ballet, toe shoes and tights. Where was this compromise going? Won't you waltz with me baby tonight, 'cause the rhythm we're finding is three quarters time, And the song keeps on playing, and bodies are ;'swaying, all I am saying is I'm Gonna waltz with you baby tonight. Thai was her favorite cuisine, his favorite was Mexican. Most k long walks on the beach sounded just perfect to her. Up in the mountains appealed more to him, so they never went much anywhere. He liked it sultry, like sex standing up, she liked to keep it discrete Where, in their eye, could they find compromise? Where could their two minds meet? Won't you waltz with me baby tonight, 'cause the rhythm we're finding is three quarters time, And the song keeps on playing, and bodies are ;'swaying, all I am saying is I'm Gonna waltz with you baby tonight.

In a tiny hotel room in New York City I got in my head to go overseas I needed to see if Erin was as pretty As all the songs would make you believe I left the hot of North Carolina That spring was pushing 100 degrees I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything finer Than Ireland’s coast looming out of the sea And as the plane was touching down Though the clouds were all around Still I could see the fabulous green And hares on the runway In old Dublin town To Wicklow we travelled in search of lost kin On that front we had no great luck We met fine people at each little inn From Carlow all the way down to Cork And as we roved over to the west shore To Dingle and Galway and many towns more Always enchanted by the luminous green And sheep stopping traffic Near the vast Cliffs of Moher ‘Twas the perfect way to finally go To the land that kept calling me in And don’t think I shall ever forget all sights that I saw or the people I met And the white hares all hopping as my plane touched down In the grass on the runway in old Dublin town.

Crackers for Christmas Can I interest you in a swing set Can I interest you in a new ball Maybe you can find some things that You might like at the Four Seasons Mall Or wherever the elves have been shopping this year To help Santa fill up his sack He wants to fill you with holiday cheer But all that you’ll ask for is crackers We’ve been so excited for our first toddler Christmas But all she’ll let us buy for her is Wheat Thins and Triscuits Can I interest you in a cheddar Can I interest you in a gruyere Maybe you’d like to sample some feta Maybe you’d like a grape juice to pair Or whatever a sommelier would recommend We place at the top of your stack Of teetering, tottering, seemingly endlessly Growing assortment of crackers We’ve been so excited for our first toddler Christmas But all she’ll let us buy for her are cheese, wine, and Triscuits Some day we’ll teach you that Christmas is less about Getting your favorite stuff Crackers are wonderful, no one denies it But Christmas is more about love We’ve been so excited for our first toddler Christmas Where in exchange for crackers, we get Tiny toddler kisses We’ve been so excited for our first toddler Christmas And all we’d ever ask of her are tiny toddler kisses And big toddler kisses Big, juicy, wet toddler kisses
5.
She was restless So insecure She said “I couldn’t do that I’ve never done that before” Had her head in the clouds, And her eyes on the door Always silently hoping She could be something much more What are you waiting for Go, go You could imagine The worst that could happen, but You’ll never know until you Go, go Take a deep breath Make that first step Learn to believe in yourself and—go She was walking Uncharted road Couldn’t be any farther From everything she’d ever known Yeah, she was lonely Yeah, the rain poured down But that “used to be” whispering Voice was screaming out loud Don’t you turn back around Go, go Don’t just imagine The worst that could happen, cause You’ll never know until you Go, go Take a deep breath Make that first step Learn to believe in yourself and—go

Wasn’t always easy, baby But loving you ain’t hard Look at the memories we’ve made From this love of ours And even if we took it back Back to the start I know we’d keep loving on What we got’s forever strong Every kiss every cry I’d do it all over with you Every dance every fight I’d do it all over with you Start it all over again By the side of my very best friend I know I would If I could Do it over Do it all over with you Who knows bout tmrw If it ended tonight I could truly say I spent everyday Loving the love of my life

On the morning your train Made its way Heard your steps on the stone Felt the sting felt the numb Felt the cold Like the pain was my own Did you hear it, the moan Of the dove? Did you notice the frost In the blessings of all that you’ve found Did you sense what you’d lost? spring roses
faded so soon
pray that we’ve lived ‘Fore we died Flamed out, you’re Shooting the moon Don’t say that you never tried Where the embers of fires Long gone cold linger on in the sky There remains still The memories of smoke Gives no truth to the lie Saw your name in the Registry once Hope your still say your prayers I imagine you still stay up late children sleeping upstairs spring roses
faded so soon
pray that we’ve lived ‘Fore we died Flamed out, you’re Shooting the moon Don’t say that you never tried Let’s just say that the Stars had their plans Let’s just say that we knew Let’s just say that we Reached out our hands some bright heaven’s not for you

A Minor Waltz Kissed your love away burn yesterday Hand sublime, and then ...heal her love Stormy interplay, your whisper lay...at the end Drawn to heaven's light, invoked a dove Kissing dew, the sun at home Scintillant shine Upon winging where we roam With a sigh, we intertwine In the gloaming light Lost in empty eyes Sewn in love My dear won't you stay today In wreaths of dew A bloodless scene To the country flew Seas of wintergreen, lost in love Quiet back, in the singing ice Comes as no surprise In this paradise We're alone In the coldest stream Commit blushing bride Float away Where your roses died Sweet mist fall upon the site Where my dearest cried Please chase away the light Wild ways and countryside Verdant lands, they're lit with gold Like your endless soul I've set free To my full control
9.
Meatless Going meatless Means you're eating beef less than you are right now Meatless Going meatless Spare the prod, spare the cow Can I eat fish? Whadda' you think? Can I eat pig? What about the gelatin? Chicken, eggs- what comes first? Nom-nom: feedin' ya' face Meatless Going meatless Means you're eating meat less than you are right now Holy, Holy, Holy Cow Meatless... How do you make a Whopper without a cow? = Impossible
