I got caught in a whirlwind, spinning, ‘round and ‘round like a hurricane. Guess I thought I was truly winning, hold on, just keep playing the game. I pushed back just enough to wrinkle, on the edge, but no heresies. All the time I was prone to wander, cross my I’s and dot my t’s. If I could do it over, I’d not play the game again. I suppose I might have let ‘em down. Hopin’ to discover I can find my second wind, now.

I'm connected to all I feel It's surreal So surreal Where do I journey How can I fail if I feel So connected to what I feel

All we want is to be whole All we want is to be whole Heal our brokenness again And be whole All we want is to be heard All we want is to be heard A still small voice cutting through the noise To be heard Just tell me I’m enough I’m enough All I need to be Just show me I’m enough Always enough The possibilities Though the days are longer still Everybody’s got their scars A collection of past scars Cut deep and deeper still The scars All they long for is to be loved Just to know they are loved Hold on to hope when it’s hard To be loved Just tell me that I’m enough I’m enough Every single day Daylight comes and it’s enough Always enough The light is here to stay Just tell me I’m enough I’m enough All I need to be Just show me I’m enough Always enough The possibilities Though the days are longer still All we want is to behold All we want is to behold The smallest miracle Can change the world

Before Your Eyes I’d given up surrendered up my space I turned away discovered other ways No one could ever close me in No one could shut me out and i could never be removed Or vanish to an old forgotten sound I kneel before your eyes I kneel before your eyes I never thought that i could go astray I never found the need to congregate No one could ever close the door Or hide beneath the clouds and i could never be replaced Or vanish to an old familiar sound I kneel before your eyes I kneel before your eyes Words sweetly said inside a liars tongue That strikes the heart lays victim like its stung No one could ever close me in No one could shut me out and i could never be removed Or vanish to an old forgotten sound I kneel before your eyes I kneel before your eyes

v1: What do you need to make it through? Something lovely, something true? A simple promise of a brand new day ------- And should you leave the night behind Who will be there to remind you of what you meant to say? v2: You count the books upon your shelf Afraid of looks you give yourself Wouldn't call it special, wouldn't call it kind ------- You try to figure the next move Trying for something left to prove Crying for something new to find ch: I... know you'll be washed clean Just wait and see This could be your time How many new beginnings do you need? It's all inside your mind v3: You should know that you are loved I know it feels that's not enough to carry you through ------- And I confess that I'm at fault Sometimes it's hard to walk the walk It's not my job to make you new ch: I... know you'll be washed clean Just wait and see This could be your time How many new beginnings do you need? br: There's plenty of us out there just trying to do our best And just because I'm lucky don't make me better than the rest I don't know that I cheated, but somehow I passed the test ch: I... know you'll be washed clean Just wait and see This could be your time How many new beginnings do you need? ------- ch: I... know you'll be washed clean Just wait and see This could be your time How many new beginnings do you need? It's all inside your mind

Spinning out of true Gasping in the haze Sunrise bleed to dusk Burning all my days Siren in the fog A whisper on the breeze Your name upon my lips Set my spirit free Beat against the moon Carved into the trees Twisting all my limbs Mocking frozen knees Siren in the fog A whisper on the breeze Your name upon my lips Set my spirit free Weaving through the dark Guide my weary sight Hail to sweetest Mary Will it be alright
