Your plans fell apart, you had such big dreams, now it’s over.
Don’t get me started on broken down dreams, I’ve been there too.
One thing I’ve learned, when you think you have failed,
You’re under water, you’ve bailed and you’ve bailed.
You were so sure your plans had been nailed.
You’ll start to question if you even have what it takes.
That’s only natural, we’ve all felt that way. It gets you down.
I’m here to tell you, get back on the horse.
You might think there’s some mysterious force,
That’s when you need to go back to the source.
Just one small stroke of the pen in your hand,
Breathes new life into your dream.
It becomes clear when you understand.
Maybe you just ran out of steam.
There’s no need to get all bent out of shape; there’s too much drama.
Take a step back, get a bird’s eye view, you’ll understand.
Maybe instead of a period, make it a comma.
Maybe it’s not the end, it’s just part of the plan.
I know you feel like you’re over your head, you're drowning.
You feel as though you’re alone in this world, it gets you down.
You need to remember, we’ve all felt that way.
Don’t play the victim, it’s not here to stay.
Trust me, the feeling will soon go away.
There’s no need to get all bent out of shape; there’s too much drama.
Take a step back, get a bird’s eye view, you’ll understand.
Maybe instead of a period, make it a comma.
Maybe it’s not the end, it’s just part of the plan.

Every ending is a place to begin
Every moment carries on
This is not the conclusion
Of everything we seek
So much more in all we cannot see
Every sorrow opens the heart to love a little more
From the dying comes new life
I’ve seen it happen before
The way it sets you free
This is how for all we cannot see
And when you think it’s over
You’ve come to a dead end
With nowhere left to go
Know a setting sun
Will rise once again
Not a period but a comma
There’s always something more
Our adventure spins an endless narrative
Turn the next page and read along
New chapters write themselves
Into your story
Life goes on in all we cannot see
This life goes on in all we cannot see

The trees in the wind are breathing true
Their songs being filled with something new
I sit for the chance to know what's true
And sing from a place I always knew
Pre Chorus:
Can I find this way to move
in the evening air
Like I've got nothing to lose
sharing in the things we share
Chorus:
I just want to
stand taller
rest deepest
and answer the call
of my deepest keeper
I just want to
breathe in the truth of who I am
And live from that place
that great I AM
There's always smiling faces
hanging round my door
Their taking different paces
dancing on my floor
I feel I'm swimming deeply
in the songs they poor
holding up my cup
I want some more
PC
C
There's hands on my shoulders
running up my spine
There mending all my pleasures
just another sign
I begin to find that it's not my mind
creating simple pleasures
for this time

Crystal Ball
Buy me a crystal ball, and leave it at my door
Buy me a crystal ball, I won’t ask for more
And i'II Stop and pause Then i'll start all over again
Buy me a crystal ball and Place in my hand
Buy me a crystal ball, and leave it at my door
Buy me a crystal ball, I won’t ask for more
and i’ll reach up to the sky
And Point down at the floor
Buy me a crystal ball, and leave it at my door
wish i had a crystal ball
Wish i had a crystal ball

Sometimes, Lord, I pray
E’en though don’t believe
You know I got ideas
But no Aces in my sleeve
Time, it ain’t a’marching
It’s a drunkard on the street
It stumbles to an ending
And the shadows there got teeth
A set of pearly gates?
St. Peter signs you in?
Did you fight the good fight?
Deny the wage of sin?
Did you seek out forgiveness?
Did you keep your faith real close?
Swear you tried your best?
Did you kneel before the rose?
No sir, I used what was given,
With my breath I tried at truth
Did my share of bad and ugly
‘Specially in my youth
I’ve sold my soul before
Got a refund at the door
Devil said shit was broke
And asked me for a smoke
Taken knees at the alter
Been dunked in water too
Shouted hallelujah
Confessed all I been through
No Dad damns his child to fire
That’s what I’m tryin’ to say
Hope there’s something in the after
So sometimes Lord, I pray.
