I'm trying to write for Magnolia Green this round, and as much as I love Queen, I had a hard time finding an intersection between Queen and what I'm trying to do right now with MG. I started out aiming for one of Freddie's dance hall/Tin Pan Alley piano tunes, figuring that if I didn't lean too hard on the melodramatic affectation and I didn't put any time into the obvious trappings of layered harmony vocals and guitars, then maybe I'd have something useful.
Well, that didn't last long.
The song is a complete trifle, and I just couldn't help having some fun with the harmonies.
So here is an utterly useless song that will likely never see the light of day, but which I nonetheless had a lot of fun for a couple of hours recording.
