I never tried multiple Beatles songs, I went with my first thought and stuck with it. This particular backwards melody clearly presented itself as an asian lullaby. I don’t speak Japanese so I did this one in English. (Didn’t need to further complicate things!) I figure someone had to have written ‘Rock A Bye Baby’ and ‘Go For To Sleep My Baby Kins’ so there has to be room for another. I had much fun with an app I found called “Hear Say Free’ with which you can learn to say something backwards and hear it forwards. The title of this lullaby is the Beatles song title pronounced backwards. (Pronounced; Uh-Nod-Num Ee-Dee-Hol). Hope you enjoy and stay awake for the whole thing!
lyrics
Anodnum Edehol Lullaby
Sweet dreams now
Nightingales are singing lullaby’s
The moon smiles down
Through your window
Time to sleep now
Whispers from the mist of morning dew
Falling oh so slow
Waiting for you
The sun will come and bring another day
So now, just close your eyes
Let your dreams take you to a place
Where you can learn to fly
Sweet dreams now
Nightingales are singing lullaby’s
The moon smiles down
Through your window
Time to sleep now
Whispers from the mist of morning dew
Falling oh so slow
Waiting for you
Tomorrow you will have another day
The stars shine overhead
All our friends are falling fast asleep
At home, safe in their beds
Sweet dreams now
Nightingales are singing lullaby’s
The moon smiles down
Through your window
Time to sleep now
Whispers from the mist of morning dew
Falling oh so slow
Waiting for you
