Trying to do these tracks with minimal instrumentation; one acoustic guitar track, one piano track, and one other "wild card" instrument, which in this case is electric guitar. Does it keep me from overthinking everything? Of course not!
lyrics
Was it destiny or just dumb luck?
When I first met her I was feeling stuck.
She pulled my heart right out of the muck.
I’m heading to see her in a little while
Just up the road, little over a mile
Got no plans just wanna see her smile
CHORUS: I celebrate the day I found her
I love everything about her
I just want to be around her
She melts in the summer and loves the fall.
She loves her cats and SEC football.
Somewhere in there, I get the call.
She gives me a stare when I do something wrong
Drying her hair takes too damn long
Doesn’t mind when I put her in a song.
CHORUS
BRIDGE: Guess I did something right.
For her to come into my life
Her cooking’s so good, it’s just not fair.
Hard to predict the color of her hair.
Wherever she is you know I’m going to be there
