This was for Albus... one instrument, one voice. I didn't want to just do a guitar / vocal thing, so thought it would be fun to try to write a song on percussion (this time I chose my trusty cajon).
My ode to people that love the groove!
lyrics
I cannot lie
Always been a rhythm guy
You can stand in the front and take all the leads
I'll be rocking hard on the back beat
Boom boom boom chicky chicky
Boom boom boom
Feel the beat, catch the vibe
Rhythm got you working overtime
Get up getup getup
Get up get up up getup
Try but you can't resist
Feel it high and in your hips
See you shakin' in the front
In the balcony
Keep it rocking all night
on the back beat

Just me and my cajon (and a voice recorder). In my head this was supposed to be like a Black Eyed Peas / Will I am type thing... fully produced though!
