So I decided early in the week I would take one of the early songs and attempt a rewrite. I had thought about Les’ song early in the week. It wasn’t until today in the car wash that I saw Doug had already done this exact thing. So I stuck to my personal rule I’ve had throughout this and didn’t listen to any posted song until after I had posted mine. So I think this will be interesting to hear multiple rewrites of the same song. Hope someone likes this one.

In my approach to the rewrite, I tried to recreate the sentiment in a more sparse manner. I felt a three feel would give it more space for the words to sink in for the listener.
