Man, I'm thoroughly embarrassed by this. This assignment was kinda right up my alley, but it's been a crazy week. Usually, though, I can at least squeeze a couple of hours out of a Sunday, but this Sunday was kinda dominated by an 8 1/2 hour VSS KISS rehearsal. I literally wrote this song on the drive home from a Jason Isbell concert last night. I came up to the studio after midnight and spent a short while working on this, and here is the very tired and slightly inebriated demo I recorded on my phone just to remind myself where I was. Alas, it's all that I've got this week, and it'll have to be my insurance against dismissal, if nothing else. Sorry for the awfulness; this song had a moderate chance of being something, but the combination of raw demo and thorough creepiness of the lyrics means that this is probably all anyone will ever hear of this one ...
