Another one NOT for the kiddos DD. I was testing out HBO for a month and watched a few of those True Detective shows. Guess that led to a few dark songs in a row for these assignments. Just your average song about murderous lovers that wind up in maximum security, writing each other letters about fantasies and past victims. Cleaned up, fleshed out, maybe this would work for a TV show!
lyrics
Hanging around in the background
Peep through little holes
Watch and wait I salivate
To knives and whipping poles
Dark side of the rainbow
Sick and twisted man
Wish I wasn't like this
But I am
Get chills in my bed
Chills down my spine
Chills in the morning
Chills in my wine
Save me from the beast inside
Release me from these thrills
Happens every time that she kills
Ooh I get chills
My search for fallen angels
Led me to "nine lives"
She was dressed designer black
As sharp as butcher knives
Bonded on our treachery
Macabre in every way
Been lovers, partners, murderers from that day
Black as night nobodies safe
That's the way we live each day
Crave the dark side Lust for blood
Search deserted neighborhoods
Visualize our next conquest
Plan each detail well
She does the deed I watch
We both exhale
Now I'm here in solitaire
For crimes I did commit
She's maximum security
At least the handcuffs fit
Write each other fantasies
We'll never leave these holes
Till the master comes for our our souls
