Quite possibly a brand-new record for shortest time spent on a song. My initial impulse was to alternate psyche stoner-rock and folk, but I let myself get sidetracked, and ended up with a little shoegazer and new wave in the former, and a little Bauhaus in the latter. Lyrics written in just about the time it takes to sing them. Ah, well. A fun exercise that will never likely see the light of day again.
lyrics
days, as they're set in constant motion
falling endless at your feet
from the night skies
lay you down to sleep
maybe to dream
tonight, as the sun explodes in motion
close your eyes
this is the beginning
of a long, strange adventure
if I could give you any hint, you're
bound to wonder why you've come
