The "Deer Woman" (it's not a typo) is a Native American legend about a spirit that appears as a human female to either be a help to those in need or a warning to those that would do evil. I took some liberties with the legend and made it about a dude that is romantically involved with a "lady of the lake," (hence the Lorelei reference in the song), but she's actually out to get the dude because he's "a man who lies." When the vocal gets throaty she's the one talking, and the riff at the end is the Deer Woman drowning him.
Dark, I know, but I'm in a rock band now that needs songs, lol.
