This began as a classical guitar etude for the tremolo technique, which is here on the track under the layers, with effects on the tone. I sometimes struggle to keep up with growing the technical side of my musical skills when I get in the creative zone. On the other hand, when I'm keeping up with practicing I often neglect the creative side of things. I care equally about both and think they feed each other, so it was fun to deliberately fuse them together this week.
lyrics
nothing that you’ll ever see
as baller
as queen elizabeth’s collar
makes you look taller
makes your heard look smaller
pack the old satchel
pad and a pencil
can of sardines
and an eating utensil
an eating utensil
might have been the moon
for all i know
passersby were riding
in a u.f.o.
passersby were riding
in a u.f.o.
‘bout to catch an uber
when i saw her
in queen elizabeth’s collar
looked like a scholar
made me want to holler
day light fading
i lost my direction
checking my phone
for a lost connection
might have been the moon
for all i know
passersby were riding
in a u.f.o.
passersby were riding
in a u.f.o.
