This was a brood subject this week which would seem to make it easy but for some reason it made it a little less easy to attain. I think I have an issue with too many choices. (I watch the directory on Netflix more than I watch movies!)
For this song, I created the guitar track first 'off the cuff' restricting myself to three chords. Then I hummed a melody. Then I replaced the melody with some lyrical ideas I acquired over the week.
I can't tell if this is good or not. I wish we had a way to give anonymous feedback in the form of a score (1 to 10) or maybe three possible choices of Sucks - Good - Very Nice. I wouldn't mind if everyone put in a score of some sort in the track credits field for this one.
lyrics
Fallin’ (Fall In)
Voices they tell what they don’t intend to say
They say that they’ll cover you and then they run away
It’s not such a mystery when you’re learning every day
Snow is just rain that falls and sticks around for days
All of the color goes to grey and falls away
Fallin
Their fame is as fragile as the words they choose to say
The image they share it kills the image they portray
Society’s senses aren’t so sensitive these days
Snow is just rain that falls and sticks around for days
All of the color goes to grey and falls away
Fallin ; Fall In
The treasure they offer they don’t want to give away
It’s in the fine print when you sign your life away
Snow is just rain that falls and sticks around for days
All of the color goes to grey and falls away
When there is no disease they sell it anyway
