I know, I know, it doesn't sound like something on a Clay record (sorry Clay). I just couldn't find any ground except for setting the guitars to "kill". This one turned out to be straight up DOOM METAL (a la early Sabbath or something like Earth or Electric Wizard)! However, the lyrics are not the normal Doom Metal dark subject matter. These lyrics are about my cat Nemo (aka Fuzzy Boots)!
lyrics
Every morning, I wake to your face
And your hair is so out of place
Your fuzzy boots will walk the steps
If I'm not careful, I just might trip
Your one desire that I admire
Feed me
And when I'm trying hard to unwind
You're in my face, you're in my mind
And you're thinking that I do not know
Within your core, a hunger grows
Your one desire that I admire
Feed me
After the gift, that you receive
I don't exist, I can't conceive
All the loving that you gave to me
I'm nothing again just an absentee
