I definitely think I need to examine an intro and an ending to this love song, but think it's an overall decent start. It failed to go where I thought it would, but I followed it where it led.
lyrics
“As Good As Your Love”
I could write a book as true as your heart
But even with all of Webster's wisdom
still no definite definition
If I could write a song that was as good as your love
I'd make, I'd make, I'd make
a million dollars
but everybody knows
a song is just some notes
with words that fall short
to illustrate the inner soul
I could sculpt a mountain into your beautiful smile
They would dote on you for centuries
Sail ships exponentially
If I could write a song that was as good as your love
I'd take the world's problems
one fell swoop would surely solve them
But everybody knows
a song is just some notes
with words that fall short
to illustrate the inner soul
These things that I am feeling
like four walls without a ceiling
make no rhyme, make no reason
with every changing season
If I could only tell you how much I love you
But everybody knows
a song is just some notes
with words that fall short
to illustrate the inner soul
