I am crazy busy as usual, but am hoping to allow a little extra time to nurture a song in the coming weeks. Or, better still, get lucky and have a good one write itself in a few minutes. This is neither of those but I'm still having fun experimenting in the wee hours of another Monday morning.
lyrics
As I lie awake in a coffin built by murders
I can’t escape
The 3am eternal internal
Dive in the mind
To the dry well
Dust, mold and cobwebs
Tired windows
candles burnt at both ends
I am so afraid
The spark that once raged
In a beautiful bloom
Will forever be gray
Ash and dismay
Clear canvas of doom
As I lie awake in a coffin built by murders
I contemplate
