I'm not really sure where this one came from at all. It's different and I'm having a time deciding how I feel about it. However, I hear lots of layering ideas and see several possibilities for expanding, especially musically.
I imagine this to be like a ground-zero, first-day in rehab kind of experience.
The picture is of my wife, Gin, spinning fire.
lyrics
"Gimme Fire"
I've been waiting for so long
To put some right to all my wrongs
Solitary confinement
Jesus Christ I've never felt so all alone
Some things time can't take away
Buried fossils that always find their prey
Hard to move on when your heart is stone
"Fake it 'till you make it" the only creed I know
I'm warming up
Whatever's in this cup
All that I've been dreaming of
Stacked up neat like a pyre
Gimme fire, gimme fire
Take my pleas to the rectifier
Gimme fire, gimme fire
Burn it down the roaring choir
Through the steps I've programmed now
12 on a wall and all to get down
Through the steps I've programmed now
Please take it away
