tI am writing this whole round for an imaginary project that would be released as is- no reworking...keeps me motivated to go on to the next round for a little while.
this one came quick... I could not think of another bridge, so I tacked an ending on changing a few chords, and that became my second bridge....
This one might be a bit autobiographical, or might be about a few folk I know.Getting older gives perspective on this whole music "career"
I'm not sure if I like it or not..
lyrics
he could hit the high notes
he could strum his guitar
but the guy, well he never could
rock
he could grow his hair long
he could find the cool clothes
but the guy, well just can’t beat the
clock
has been on the scene
but he’s never been seen
never got his face on a magazine
it doesn’t mean
doesn’t mean a thing
He could drive a cool car
He could get a great girl
but the guy, well he never did
know
He could tell a great joke
He could make us all laugh
but the guy, well he just never did
grow.. except old
has been on the scene
but he’s never been seen
never got his face on a magazine
it doesn’t mean
doesn’t mean a thing
has been or never was
never pushed so never budged
Has Been
has been or never was
never pushed so never budged
Has Been ... has been
he could hit the high notes
he could strum his guitar
but the guy, well he never could
rock
has been on the scene
but he’s never been seen
never got his face on a magazine
it doesn’t mean
doesn’t mean a thing
so it goes…
you never know
just never know
so it goes
you never know
never know
