A rush job - I spent about two hours, start to finish, which is not bad for me for a "fully produced" track. I knew, going in, that this wasn't going to be anything I could use for anything, so I can't say I really gave it my all, but I sure had fun with it. I wanted to be a lot smarmier about the lyrics, but I knew I couldn't top Josh's great track this week. Clearly, the reason for the failure of this track? Frank Stallone.
lyrics
one time in a lifetime
man stands on his own
does he rise to the challenge
or will he turn to stone
can he face the sunrise
can he find the zone
when the streets are on fire
and the countdown is on
when the gun is all top
and the wrath is all Khan
baby take me hand
there can only be one
this time in a lifetime
this man stands on his own
he will rise to the challenge
he'll never turn to stone
he is facing the sunrise
he has found the zone
when the streets are on fire
and the countdown is on
when the gun is all top
and the wrath is all Khan
baby take me hand
there can only be one
when the night falls
and hopes are fading
I will fly to the danger zone
I will be your wingman on the mark
keep your head up
when war is raging
when you think that your cover's blown
I will be your lion in the dark
this time in a lifetime
this man stands on his own
he will rise to the challenge
he'll never turn to stone
he is facing the sunrise
he has found the zone
when the streets are on fire
and the countdown is on
when the gun is all top
and the wrath is all Khan
baby take me hand
there can only be one
when the night falls
and hopes are fading
I will fly to the danger zone
I will be your wingman on the mark
keep your head up
when war is raging
when you think that your cover's blown
I will be your lion in the dark
