This song started with the cryptograph challenge. The opening guitar line is the root being the letter ‘A’ and then on up the alphabet from there. I simply spelled ‘Mary’ with the first four notes which repeats. I don’t know why ‘Mary’, I just figured that seems to be a universal name to represent a girl in a song. After that, the rest of the song just came into place. I’m sure I haven’t done anything here that hasn’t been done before, but it’s a story that maybe can be told once more.
