This one took a slightly darker turn than some of these other trio-project sketches. Started in Beastie Boys territory, believe it or not, before acquiring a bit of Adrian Belew and then the Cure, with a slight nod to a riff by my old 90's band, Speck. Not even sure where we are now.
Once again, lyrics are a sketch, at best.
lyrics
fourteen hours of white-out fog
misfortunate happens gather ye may
Blankets o’er the tanneries
Cream City brick all faded to gray
At 47 degrees below
even my blood starts to freeze
I watch you walking away
And wonder how it
Ever got so cold
And can I ever feel the warmth again?
Never should’ve left the Delta
Black soil silt don’t freeze like these nights
Bolted down on Kilbourne swear my lungs
All filled with sulphur and ice
At 47 degrees below
even my blood starts to freeze
I watch you walking away
And wonder how it
Ever got so cold
And can I ever feel the warmth again?
