Had to learn some new stuff this week on the production side... so this one was actually started on iPhone / finished in the studio. One take on vocals, but in a perfect world this would be STACKED with a big voice!
About a wall street guy that wises up and takes a minute to enjoy the important things in life. I'm not sure I really like how the lyrics came out... but this could be a big epic pop idea to develop in another direction!
lyrics
In hindsight looking on the bright side
Shouldla been higher up on my highlights
Stead of all those chemicals
But it's not too late if you're open
Check your head and, admit that it's broken
Lesson is, just go with it0
Don't mean preach
There ain't no recipe…
In the Rise and fall
Through it all
Never believed in Miracles
But now I see
Possibiltiies
And a life that's not so cynical
I must admit, I have seen enough
To know what's up to me
You can go on chasing everything
But never stop to breathe
Don't know that it works for every one
But it happened to me
Middle/
Running, and Spinning, in circles
Stuck in this place
Yearning for something that matters
Get outta the race, and find my pace...
