Still pursuing that Hall & Oates vibe, but this one definitely went a step too far. I started cueing off a more "Maneater" kind of vibe, starting with a Linn drum machine sequence and a Prophet organ bass, and then I just went down a 1983 wormhole. Even the lyrics fed off that terrible, overdramatic John Paar-style vibe. Ah, well; I just couldn't help myself. Sure was fun while it lasted, though ...
