This totally wound up sounding like a Dandy Warhols song not by design. I like the song but the mix is pretty rough. The rest of my week is slammed so this is it. It has a good groove to rock out to even though it doesn't classify as a hard rocking genre of a song. The lyrics are basically about getting away from reality.
lyrics
Take me to the place, where everything is colorful
We're surfing on the waves, and everything is wonderful
The sun comes through the shade, the darkness takes a dreaded bow
Succumbing to the rays, please illuminate me now
Shine a light on me
Just let me be
No reality
My only time of zen, is floating on a sunny sea
The ocean takes me in, escaping from the agony
The birds up in the sky, they sing a song so heavenly
The wind will pass us by, she whispers words of poetry
Shine a light on me
Just let me be
No reality
Take me to a time
Where I could feel no pain
The sun is going to shine
And I know she calls my name
I just want to sail the waves and let them set me free
Deliver me from the stormy days that will not let me see
