I wasn’t feeling particularly inspired this week, so this was written and recorded quickly this afternoon. Enjoy the bitchin' otamatone solo!
We’ve probably all experienced feeling like an outsider. Sometimes it’s imagined, and sometimes you actually are treated differently, either because of something you did, or something you have no control over. It can be weird when someone only will talk to my husband about music, when they met him through working with me. But, that says nothing about me, and plenty about that person. So, I resolve to be better about not caring what they think.
lyrics
Stop listening to the silence
Trying to hear what isn't there
There's plenty to be said
For the lines that are not dead
It's none of my business what you think of me
Anymore just like before
It's none of my business what you think of me
And I won't give it no mind, no more
Other worlds I have imagined
Whispered just beyond my ears
You can't know what is here
Does newness cause you fear?
It's none of my business what you think of me
Anymore just like before
It's none of my business what you think of me
And I won't give it no mind, no more
