I was a teen in the 90s. Alternative music was very influential to me, during that time. MTV was showcasing lots of "unplugged" performances, which I fell in love with. That raw vibe grabbed me to the core.
This song is about a person who just tired of life. The waves are the only way out.
lyrics
So, you think you know me
But you don’t know me
So, you think you love me
Well, you don’t love me
I want to go to the sea
watch the waves crashing over me
I want to go to the sea
watch the waves crashing over me
Crashing over me
Crashing over me
Crashing over me
Crashing over me
Endless promises you made
Endless hopes and dreams take
Away from me everyday
With every breath you take
I want to go to the sea
watch the waves crashing over me
I want to go to the sea
watch the waves crashing over me
Crashing over me
Crashing over me
Crashing over me
Crashing over me
I want to be alone
