Once again I found myself a bit too busy to put much time in this week. I really wish I could have put some more production and composition time into this tune. It would have been cool to get into a studio and put some other instrumentation on it. i I really enjoyed writing it.
lyrics
Lay your head upon my chest, my child
Pay no mind to thunder
Dream of bell filled fields and summer green
As you lie in slumber
As the sun retreats behind earths line
Find comfort in knowing
The sheep they sleep behind the fence
The fields are plowed for sewing
As you lay and ponder life now passed
The fear of death is growing
Grab his hand remembering
All the things you've shown me
