I won't say that I phoned this in, but I will say that to properly pull off this assignment would have required a whole lot more time and commitment than I could give it this week. So I somehow landed on a faux-jazz, creepy love song from beyond the grave. Why? Dunno. Sometimes you just follow the muse blindly, and sometimes she leads you into a dark alley and beats the hell out of you. Part of the process, I guess.
