So the exercise was to write something that was technically challenging on your instrument. I took a bit of liberty and included lyric writing as fair play for the assignment. I challenged myself to write a short and concise lyric and to write a song as close to 120 bpm as I could (I've never written anything much past 100). The lyric here ended up being pretty terrible. It's all just placeholder nonsense, pretty much. It is shorter than most lyrics I write though. I wanted to do more with the lyric and make it a little more musically interesting (it's a little full tilt the entire time), but I'm busy as hell right now and ran of time.
