Changed the key, rewrote the verse lyrics and messed around w/ melodies on the chorus. Original song called Sailing On Don't really like my rewrite since this was a pretty quick one... but I like the essence and vibe, so maybe w/ more time I'll scrap the whole "sailing" premise.
lyrics
Oh, we go sailing on
Right where we be, right where we belong
I was looking to myself
No other place to go
Sailing on the open seas
With nothing left to show
Anxious for adventure
So lonely I could scream
Then you came to me just like a dream
Lost touch for a minute
The hours then the days
Accidental happiness in
Imaginary ways
Winter turned to summer
My bitterness it seams
Gone since you are here and we can be
