Well.. first week I've been home for a while, but still didn't have a ton of time. Had high hopes that didn't quite get developed in this version - but the idea was about a relationship that should have been so right, but with a complicated girl that made it so uncertain. I had some strong ideas on this one that I just ran out of time, so maybe this one will come back in another life!
lyrics
Spends all her free time alone
Talking to friends on the telephone
Not sure if she's shy
Hung up on a guy
Or simply not into me
We worked together at Satellites
Went out for dinner and drinks a few nights
Connection was strong
Something went wrong, what should I think?
Satellite, satellite
Too high to come down
But I see her see her at night
Look out my window
See her tonight
Liked to wear bright color tones
Listen to music with big pink headphones
Too much to hide
This secret dark side
The cracks were so clear to me
We spent the summer like fingers in glove
She kept me closest but where was the love?
Never did know
What she wouldn't show, to me....
