The title, "しょうがない," or, "shouganai," means "it cannot be helped," or, "it is what it is." Japan is all about that Buddhist inspired stoicism, and they use that word a LOT. There's also some meta-meaning here as well, lol.
lyrics
Sometimes all you got is a beat.
Shouganai
Sometimes ain’t nothin’ left but the heat.
Shouganai
Hotel rooms and shitty channels, drug traffickers in the street.
Shouganai
Caught yourself in a drunk, lost the shoes off yo’ feet.
Shouganai
Unwelcome daylight, on the wrong end of a cheat
Shouganai
Skin pulling tighter, like a mummy in the peat
Shouganai
Ain’t nothin’ doin’, ‘cept yo’ bleedin’ out on the sheet
Shouganai
