For the assignment I decided on one of those "I'm a royal badass" tropes. So it's basically a shit-talking song.

Lot going on in here. I finally got my system back up and running, and decided to do a synth heavy thing in Ableton Live (never completed a song in this application before, just played around and made a few beats...still learning the ropes). I successfully avoided having any guitars at all, though in retrospect this really is a rock song, not a synth song, but ain't no time to go back now.

Lyrics are pretty generic. I centered them around the most badass thing I could think of, skipping square stones on the river Styx seemed like a thing a BAMF would/could do, so I went with that. No prizes will be won with this lyric, or the vocals, but we do what we can in the time allotted, right?
