So, for the past few months I have been throwing myself into old sci-fi synth heavy soundtracks. I think it all was inspired by watching Stranger Things and reflecting on the sci-fi synth soundtracks of my youth (Logan's Run, Blade Runner, the first Terminator, etc...). During this same time period was a branch of the post-punk genre in France called Cold Wave. They mixed heavy use of synths along with chorus-laiden guitars, dark vocals and drum machines. This round I will be focusing on this genre of Post-punk/Cold Wave. I have already released a few new songs which were picked up by a French DJ and led to some sales in France. Hey, a positive start! So for this week, I give song DN180. Just a random title, I will officially title them when I release them under my Bandcamp site.
