Making up a word is hard. I spent all week trying to come up with something I could use, and then I wrote the song in the car in more or less the time it takes to get from Greensboro back to Winston-Salem. And yes, once again, I had to flesh out the track, but the song sort of demanded a groove, and I'll use any excuse to get to play drums!
lyrics
Stop suspensin' me
Stop suspensin' me
Don't know where you been
You got me nervous again
Stop suspensin' me
Everybody's heard
Those homewrecking words
In someone else's song
But before too long
I know I'll hear them, too
"She's made a fool of you,
And everybody's heard."
Stop suspensin' me
Stop suspensin' me
Don't know where you been
You got me nervous again
Stop suspensin' me
You know I love you true
But i ain't got a clue
Ain't gonna snoop around
I put my money down
If you can't let me know
I just can't let you go
You know i love you true
Stop suspensin' me
Stop suspensin' me
Don't know where you been
You got me nervous again
Stop suspensin' me
Don't know where you been
You got me nervous again
Stop suspensin' me
