not my wheelhouse...:)
I kind of took last week's stream of consciousness theme and carried it over. played a drum loop and then played a guitar and vocal and recorded simultaneously.
i might write another, but wanted one in , just in case.
lyrics
She sang, "can't put a raindrop back in the sky
you’ll never get a teardrop to roll back into your eye"
that second hand will move real slow
but back in time you'll never go… you should never go
She said If I were you I’d sit back down and adjust my hat
get up and take one step up but don't take no steps back
cause back in time is she was
God know those times were really tough
those times were really tough
sometimes your life is just like talking to a ghost
those words come out but they drift on just like some smoke
sometimes you wish that old tree had held a rope
the one where you carved her name and then you lost all hope
sometimes your life is just like talking to a ghost
those words come out but they drift on just like some smoke
sometimes you wish that old tree had held a rope
the one where you carved your name and then you lost all hope
