First song in awhile I've kinda felt OK about. This one was born to be played uptempo, full-band, and I see my new band playing it, and I'm trying to get away from demos that dictate too much of the potential arrangement. Having said that, I'm enjoying the melancholic approach here. Lyrics need a thorough overhaul, but I finally think that there are a couple of ideas and concepts here that are worth chewing on. I love the idea that one's object of love can be compared to the fixed object that you focus when you're spinning too fast. Dunno where that came from; I'm sure I nicked it from something ...
