Well, MM3AM ain't gonna make allowances for the 'rona ... or not yet, anyway. This is the last week of the round, and the last of my attempted songwriting for a bit for this potential aria + oleo project we've been talking about. Had a great time working on these, but I'm looking forward to getting back to a little more rootsy/folksy writing for a bit.
lyrics
Oh, tell me again
Everything you can recall
Days before all the rains
arsenic tears came to fall I need your life rope I’m losing all hope
Midnight, we wake from our dreams
Only to find they’re all gone
If we’re the last left on earth
Will we remember the dawn
Oh, so quiet again
only the patter of rain
Oh, nothing so pure the blood running through our veins
Stay by my side
We’ll say that we tried
Midnight, we wake from our dreams
Only to find they’re all gone
If we’re the last left on earth
Will we remember the dawn
