The instant I read the required title "The Man Who Walked The Town" for this week, I immediately could hear Lee Hazlewood singing this line so I approached the challenge this week in Lee's style. This is my first attempt at composing anything orchestral so I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out and I highly enjoyed it!
lyrics
He is the man who walked the town
He's seen the sights and heard the sounds
He's turned the streets to gold
Some new and others old
He is the man who walked the town
He is the one to turn their heads
Others they followed as he led
He makes the people smile
Say hello it is worth the while
He is the one to turn their heads
He'll keep on walking until the end
He's the one to call as your friend
And on the day he dies
He'll be walking up to the skies
He'll keep on walking until the end
