This song started out with a weird guitar lick I was playing. I had originally planned on some synth and all that jazz in a song for this week, making some sort of Joy Division, Cure-ish tune but ended up liking the intertwined guitar parts of this with an almost Television-esque (not really songwriting wise but more guitar wise)/ or even early Built to Spill feel. In the end I lIked it without the synth. Here ya go
lyrics
Climbs the stairs
Strikes the motorcade
Wasted breath upon the dirty dead-end children
Lets talk about the vitamin deficiencies
Lets talk about a quarter of a century of peace
Everyday I'm coming closer
In everyway I'm coming closer to you
These bones are not for sale
Slap me and keep me up all night
make me a poster child
I am ready I am ready for that day to come
This radio plays the same old tune again
This radio sounds a million miles away
Everyday I'm coming closer
In everyway I'm coming closer to you
These bones are not for sale
