Well, this one is probably entirely useless for the writing project I'm working on right now, but I think I do kind of like it. Just not sure what I can use it for. Maybe that Traveling Travisbury project that Joshua and Patrick and I have been threatening for a while.

Believe it or not, I started out with "Every Time You Go Away," and it somehow morphed into this Keane/Britpop kind of thing.

On the assumption that the lyrics were going to get reworked, I again didn't put too much time into them, but the source amuses me. The family has been slowly bingeing our way through the Mission Impossible series (SPOILER ALERT AHEAD) ...

... and as silly as those movies are, I always think the scenes where Hunt "spies on" his wife, whom he can no longer be with, are a nice touch. Kinda creepy, kinda "Every Breath You Take," but also very poignant. So that's the point of view that this lyric adopts.

Oh, also, I really amused myself with the way I ended up included the keyword this week.
