Cows make me think of Faye. She loved animals and worried, not just for their care but also if they were lonely. She did sing to the cows and donkeys across the street from her house. Animals all loved her as much as she loved them, and expected nothing from her.
She was a caretaker, for a human, for too many years without a break. Caretakers are frequently forgotten, taken for granted and misunderstood by everyone who hasn’t had that specific, unrelenting strain. That I failed to relieve the strain definitely makes me sad.
This song is my idea of her perspective.

I had a whole string arrangement in my head for this song that obviously didn’t happen this week. Although I probably still have a little time, I’m tired so this is what you get for now.
