Fresh release from the archives: Had oleo's solo album not been scrapped due to creative differences, this would have been the second single's B-side. Unfortunately, Roy never got around to recording all his parts and this is the only known surviving recording from those ill-fated sessions.

The goal of this song was two-fold:
1) Make something that would surprise most folks (including myself, if possible) familiar with my output
2) Make something that fit the criteria of Doug's Fastball's, "the Way" query of songs whose hooks were found in the verses and not in the choruses


For this round, I intend to get outside of my comfort zone a bit and focus on making the kind of stuff I normally don’t make. This one is somehow both the most “Mitchell-like”and the least “Mitchell-like” song I’ve ever made.
There are vocal harmonies - lot’s of ‘em, actually. And no, I didn’t really auto-tune them, so they’re a bit rough here and there, but I tired to slather them in enough reverb to make them palatable.


Also: I'm behind on everyone's songs, as I've been pretty busy lately, but I'm gonna try and catch up tomorrow.
