between this world and the other

I'm clutching my rosary beads, Obviously
there's something out there trying to get to me
And till I see it with my own eyes I'll overanalyze
every little rustle in the leaves
I'm staring at the trees manically
I don't want to but I have to believe
So I'll anthropomorphize
Because everything I think I see is a monster to me

I've got garlic in my pocket
silver bullets in my vest
a silver cross etched in a silver locket
hanging from my neck
I've got stakes and holy water
just in case the thing goes down.
Hush now- can you hear that sound?

Paranoia takes and paranoia gives
Paranoia wastes but paranoia lives
