I had some ideas through the week that would have been more of a country or pop tune but I wanted to hit on something that would allow me to repeat the slogan over and over without sounding out of place. Then last night on the way back from Fay Vegas – they were’ playing a bunch of old blues artist and I thought ‘That’s perfect!” I could do an upbeat blues number that would be natural to repeat the slogan and it would be simple and recognizable. Bikers love the blues – and since the biker folks are hosting in the Piedmont (area between mountains and ocean), I could try to do it in a Piedmont Blues style of which the only thing I can really pick out is the added G# when walking up to the B minor 7. This presentation is shorter but what I envision for the fleshed out version is to take this version and mesh it into a full modern production, add some harp solos and maybe another guitar solo and repeat the chorus some more, maybe with some chant backs from an audience. This could be fun. OK – sales pitch over – enjoy!
