Stylistically, it is nowhere near Van Morrison or McCartney. However, it is a lyrically and musically simplistic mellow song that holds powerful lyrics (at least to me). There were a LOT of adjectives in that sentence, Doug please send the grammar police :-)!!
lyrics
You are my dream, you are my life
You are the stars that fill my night
When darkness comes to take the light
Everything you do, makes me alright
You are my lover, you are my friend
You are the plane where I transcend
I am the flame that you ignite
Everything you do, makes me alright
You are the Earth on which I stand
You are the ring upon my hand
And when I board my last flight
I know everything you do, has made me alright
